Clever Hustle Wallet 

Mercelyn “Kerry” Francis, is the CEO and founder of Clever Hustle Wallet. She’s a young self made millionaire from the beautiful island of Jamaica! At the age of 6 years old, she started to consume  a lot of passion for entrepreneurship, teaching and finance. Growing up she had  a lot of hurdles and faced so many challenges in poverty. She didn’t grow up with her parents but rather her grandmother and aunt. 

At 12, Kerry had her first couple jobs or we would say “side hustles”  where she combed kids hair for parents whom needed that extra help. She also did babysitting and helped out in shops in her community. Very determined to strive for success, she gave her all in school, she scored A’s and made her teachers and family proud. 

Although she was faced with many obstacles of being neglected,  having sleepless nights, hungry days, that didn’t stop her from pushing to towards doing good for herself. Mercelyn, would make it a priority to save from her side hustles, and most importantly manage her money wisely so she can attend school even on days when she had a few dollars that could only cover  her bus fare. 

In High School she focused on Accounting, Business, and Computer where she aced all her subjects including Math, English, Spanish and Biology. After she got her diploma from Titchfield HS, she started sending out resumes so she could finance herself for college. She became a mom after 2 years and so that gave her additional setbacks however knowing Mercelyn, she didn’t let that stop her. 

She started applying for customer service roles in call centers which she had successfully acquired. It was never easy being a working mom however, her child’s father was active and so with the division of responsibilities, she was able to work, study and be a mom. 

After 1 year and 6 months of being an agent she was always complimented on her courteousness and work ethics from customers. The bad news though was that; the workplace was very toxic and led to her being medically depressed. Mercelyn knew her value and the expertise she had and so she decided to resign from her job. A week after she resigned, she started her own sales and marketing company. 

7 years of running her own freelance sales and marketing company helped her to developed expertise in multiple industries such as, SEO, CBD, Real Estate, Staffing and more. She started her first blog in 2019 where she  shared freelance job opportunities for stay at home moms, ways for people to work from home and her story of becoming a freelancer on Fiverr. 

With her background in working online, she also shared legit side hustles  that she did to help with other side expenses in her household. 

Clever Hustle Wallet is a Personal Finance Blog that provides information on legitimate, profitable, flexible and smart side hustles for bigger pockets. It also shares tips on savings, passive income ideas and how to start your own business. 

The aim of Clever Hustle Wallet is to help empower more people through great side hustles that will put them on the path to financial freedom.
